Peter Lin

Peter is married to Isobel with 3 adult daughters, a son-in-law, and a grandchild (who will turn 1 during the conference). He planted and pastored a church in one of the poorer but most multicultural areas of Sydney for 17 years before coming into his current role of overseeing gospel ministry in a broader area of Sydney. He loves all things sport (watching) and him and his family are “comfort food” foodies (participating). Their family tradition is to have hot chips and gelato every day on their holidays. He is just discovering podcasts.

Geoff MacPherson

The youngest of eight kids, Geoff has been married to Marie for most of his life and they have three sons. After 10-years as pastor of Grace Presbyterian Church in Christchurch, Geoff relocated to Gisborne to establish Grace Church, before moving to Auckland where he serves as the principal of Grace Theological College and assistant pastor at Covenant Presbyterian Church. In his spare time, he is moderator of the Grace Presbyterian denomination and board member at Multiply Network.

Phil Colgan

Phil is the Senior Minister at St George North Anglican Church (SNAC) in the Southern Suburbs of Sydney where he has served for over 20 years.  Phil also serves as the chair of the NEXUS ministry Conference and on the board of Reach Australia. He is passionate about training and sending people into Gospel Ministry. He is married to Victoria with three young adult children and loves watching all sport, doing cryptic crosswords and reading crime fiction.

Dave Catto

Dave grew up in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney. After a brief stint with a mining company, he trained for pastoral ministry and spent 10 years as the Lead Pastor at Levin Baptist Church. Dave is married to Prue and they have 4 boys, 2 born in Australia and 2 in New Zealand. They moved back across the ditch late 2024 to be closer to family, but the lower North Island continues to be a special place for them. Dave now works at a Christian school in outdoor education and is training to be a school chaplain. His favourite part of ministry is seeing lives transformed by Jesus as people hear and respond to God's word.

Bryson Smith

Bryson Smith has been involved in teaching the Bible in regional Australian churches for over 30 years. He has spoken at numerous conventions around Australia and enjoys encouraging people of all ages and stages to live all for Jesus. Bryson is currently involved in the ministry team at Bathurst Presbyterian Church. He is married to Sue and they have 3 adult children.

Tim Capill

Tim has been on the ministry team at Latimer Church in Christchurch, NZ for over 16 years. He is the Chair of the Equip Conference Committee, and is passionate about teaching the Bible and raising up gospel workers who do the same. He is married to Melody and they have 4 children.
