The first year you come to Equip you'll be doing Strand 1. Over the week you'll be given the tools to read and understand a passage from the New Testament by yourself, as well as being shown how to prepare and write a bible study—in fact, you'll write one yourself! Each day you'll meet with about a dozen other delegates and your strand leaders for two hours in your strand group. You'll get to know each other well as you work in pairs and small groups as well as by yourself; developing your skills in handling the bible. Your strand leaders will teach, encourage and support you as you work through the material, and give you feedback on your bible study.
